Project 88

Named in reference to the number of keys on a piano, this project will bring new opportunities to Berwyn. We will provide access to classical music through concerts and educational outreach to the area’s youth. Our ultimate mission is to provide our youth free access to high-quality music education.

In our call for True Unity, we are moving toward the vision of music conservatory
in Berwyn. This project will partner with Awake, a community development nonprofit started by Unity Lutheran Church of Berwyn. Working together, we will move toward a dream of offering high-quality musical instruction to all, celebrating God’s great gift of music and the arts in this place.

To support this effort, please make your secure donation here:

Concerts for Youth

Into the Musical World: Concerts for Youth gives young people in our community an unforgettable experience. Local students enjoy Friday matinee concerts dedicated specifically to them, where they become immersed in the musical world during playful performances.

In our 2018 season, over 150 students experienced an interactive and educational concert. These concerts provided students the opportunity to learn about distinguished composers, interact with the artists about both the music they perform and their passion for the field, and explore instruments up close as the artist played.

Lucile Evans Music Festival

Join us November 12-17 for the Lucile Evans Music Festival, a weeklong
celebration of classical music. The festival will feature daily concerts, performed by a variety of distinguished guest artists.

Additionally, several masterclasses will be given during the week by these same
